Totally agree. Name the manager who you think is the best in the business and he wouldn't win with this team.

Question is how it will look at the end of the season. If this team misses playoffs by 3-4 games, I suspect that more competent manager would have gotten them to October.

I don't think they will be that close, but clearly they would have had a better shot the past 3 years with Gabe

I just don't think they would have gone far even if they had made the playoffs
