Well, you were right.
Especially with the big lead, there was only negative stuff that could have come out of Aaron going back out. 6 innings 1 run is great. His pitch count was great for the 1st start of the season after a short ST. Joe got greedy and just a real bad decision. Now all the Nola haters will talk shit because all they do is look at the box score.

Whereas you take him out, everyone is happy

Phillies 2022: Getting into other teams' bullpens .... and trying to stay away from ours.

Which is why adding another quality starting pitcher would/will be worth its weight in gold.

Exactly. This team may score a ton of runs, but they will give up just as many runs.

I mean if Stott can’t play 3b then he probably can’t play short, which means he probably can’t play because he doesn’t hit enough for an OF.

Good times

Also everyone but Joe Girardi could see Nola was done.

What did ever do to deserve Girardi and Doc?

1 really bad decision has severe consequences....you now get to see the worst parts of the Phillies due to Joe's decisions:

When Nola runs out of gas, it normally goes bad quickly
bad defense
a bullpen that will give up baserunners

Offense will have to get some more runs to secure this win...we had 5 runs after 3 innings....can not score 1 run for 6 innings and expect to win many games. So hopefully, the Phils pick up Aaron and their manager and blow the wheels off this comeback.
