Lot of good things today, but one of the best is 6 up 6 down in the 8th and 9th inning. Nola looked great for the first 6, feel bad for him, but he still got the win. Even on a lot of the outs today, the Phillies hitter has some real nice at bats.

Hoskins is already atrocious at first, and there were questions in the minors whether Stott could actually stick at short.

Like if he is going to be a negative defender, then Carmargo should probably steal time at third.
Stott is still learning 3B. I think his ultimate position is probably 2B, but it doesn't help when the 1B is the worst on the planet. Imagine all these years, waiting for the DH so the Phils could get Hoskins off the field and when it finally comes he's still there. I mean, he tries, but he'll never be good there. Also, he looks in better shape this year and seems to have a better approach at the plate, so it's not like he doesn't have value, but I think he'd have more value if he didn't play the field and I have to think Schwarber or Catellanos would be better at 1B. They couldn't be worse.

Biggest problem with the team right now is still the manager.

I love the way Harper tears ass around the bases.

Kid has some "want to", that's for damn sure.
