Expectation was 85-90. Wheeler, Suarez, Eflin won't be going more than 5 - no issue trying to get one more inning out of Gibson

You are trying to build confidence in him. Had a good first game, no issue with him not facing a LH
Bryson, Didi & Alec will all get plenty of starts - ultimately the best 2 will take over

He was solid in 20. Horrid last year. Only 32
Zero issue with giving him a shot and see if he can bounce back. SS/3B will work itself out. If all 3 do well, then Didi will have trade value

You also have to realize that it was not a normal spring training. Pitchers are not fully stretched out. Joe will have to take some chances as you can't be using the bullpen 3+ innings every night
