This inning and the Phillies losing this game is now brought to you by Matt Vierling. Gibson should be on the bench right now in a 1-1 game. This is how bad defense destroys a pitcher. Slumps happen, but he HAS TO catch that ball.

Phillies have had opportunity after opportunity all game long and yet they can not buy a hit with RISP that produces a run.

The 9th spot in the lineup has produce ONE FUCKING hit all year long and that was a pinch hit.

I start Mizziotti until another option gets healthy. Vierling already is not hitting, but you get excellent fielding from Mizziotti. But JOEY wont because he is a stubborn fuck

In 5 games, he's 5-10 and played good defense. 28 is the same age the Phillies got Jayson Werth when he finally got his act together.

27-28 is when major leaguers enter their prime. Right now, Camargo is by far their best 3B option until he shows otherwise.
Its not Camargo hate for me, it is playing Didi over Stott and/or Bohm...and the uselessness of having Bohm just sit on the bench

Oh well. Maybe they come back, probably not. Don’t understand why Schwarbs leads off, dude don’t hit for average or a great OBP and isn’t fast.

This team has a lot of "names" on it, but they are not playing well together as of yet...some of these at bats are just brutal, especially with RISP. Schwarber swung at 2 bad pitches. The defense is playing worse then I could have even imagined...ugh

I am really getting pissed watching this team right now, as Harper grounds into the DP. They are playing bad baseball, plain and fucking simple and if they continue to not hit like this, they will be swept here in Miami...this ones over.

Harper is completely lost at the plate, sac fly or not, that's a minimal achievement.

Weren't you advocating that they should just make Vierling the every day CF instead of signing Odubel?

Now you want to bail on him after 7 games?

Joe is stubborn when he doesn't play a young player almost every game and stubborn when he does?

Joe is not a good manager - but I have no issue with him giving Vierling a chance, despite the disappointing results so far

Nah - he will get at least until June unless they are a complete disaster

Would probably just make Thomson the interim if they did
