I never thought Vierling was anything more than a marginal player

However, whether it is Vierling, Didi, Bohm, etc - everyone on the roster will get their chances. Those who take advantage of it will get the bulk of the playing time. If Didi is batting 170 in June - he won't be playing. If Bohm continues to hit when he gets the chance, and can play at least (lol) adequate defense, he'll get a lot more starts.

Not everyone is just given a starting job. Jayson Werth was not the starting RF in 08 in April. He played well when he got his chances and Charlie eventually made him the FT RF.

Phillies have had opportunity after opportunity all game long and yet they can not buy a hit with RISP that produces a run.

The 9th spot in the lineup has produce ONE FUCKING hit all year long and that was a pinch hit.

I start Mizziotti until another option gets healthy. Vierling already is not hitting, but you get excellent fielding from Mizziotti. But JOEY wont because he is a stubborn fuck
Weren't you advocating that they should just make Vierling the every day CF instead of signing Odubel?

Now you want to bail on him after 7 games?

Joe is stubborn when he doesn't play a young player almost every game and stubborn when he does?

Joe is not a good manager - but I have no issue with him giving Vierling a chance, despite the disappointing results so far
I was advocating for a Moniak Vierling platoon. And sorry, life is tough and right now he is not helping this team at all. My point is, you are not getting any hitting out of him, my as well go with Mizziotti, because we know he is a very good CF with much better range.

My point is, this can get out of hand real quick and Joe needs to do something because what he is or is not doing right now is not working. This team is NOT hitting and their defense is really hurting our pitchers

Rhys with another poor at-bat....Didi first pitch swinging, Camargo weak ground out...leadoff single wasted.

Rhys after a fast start has 1 hit since the 2nd game of the year

Where the hell are all the HRs, where are all the RUNS.

I know it’s 7 games, but nothing over the past 10 years gives me hope. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. It’s Philly, titles are not the norm.

Oh - I don't think that they have a realistic chance at a title

I predicted 80 wins - so am not saying you will be wrong. Just too early to evaluate

Here is my problem, this is BORING baseball...If we were losing 9-8, at least it would be entertaining...scoring 1 run or meaningless runs at the end of a route SUCKS. Just like last September, this April's schedule is very favorable and they are not taking advantage of it...just like last year. In May this team is going to be destroyed if they dont get their shit together
