They're still really bad about managing their roster. Didi hasn't played in almost a week, it's a 10 day IL just IL the guy. Stott hasn't also played since the 19th

On one hand, Stott getting demoted for Roman Quinn wouldn't have even worked as parody 5 weeks ago.

On the other, it's the quintessential Phillies move.

Stott making the team was the right call but you have to wonder what the point of that was if 30 ABs was enough to get him banished to the bench and demoted.

They are going to give Didi a full chance to show whether he can still be a + player or not, as many teams do with high costing vets - rightly or wrongly

Once Bohm stepped up a won 3B - Stott was not going to play anymore for now once Didi returns.

If Didi struggles, by June, Stott will be the everyday SS
