people are knocking DAvis b/c he doesnt get sacks? ask Suggs how many sacks he got b/c of Ngata. Guys like Reddick will benefit greatly from Davis' presence.

They can get a CB, a S or DE, easily.
So you mentioned the 3-4 thing.

An unknown scout said and deleted that Hasaan will be in a 2 pt stance in the Eagles 5-2. You think they dump it?
Hmm. A 5-2 is obviously a modified 3-4, that would put Reddick on one side and Sweat on the other. Hell, they could wind up playing Cox-Smith-Hargrave as the base 3 DL with Barnett-Williams-Graham as the rotational DL on passing downs.

This could be a dramatic change that could really transform the defense. They'd have White, Edwards, Taylor & Bradley at LB and that might be good enough if Taylor grows as he should.

Now it's up to the DC to let the CBs play tighter to give that DL a chance.
Need the badger. That front 7 is going to be hell to run on especially with BG back

I saw a mock today with Stingley going 3rd
So Stingley ahead of one of Hutchinson Thibidoux or Gardner... LOL

Of all the ridiculous things people posted last night, this might be the most ridiculous.

https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp

Vikings gives up 1640 points
Detroit gives up 1410

Obvious win for Detroit, but compare that to the Eagles move

Houston gives up 1150 points
Philly gives up 1146.4 points

Not even close to what Detroit gave up, even if it was a clear win of a trade for the Lions. The difference between those 2 values would be an early 3rd round pick that the Eagles didn't give up in their trade.

Yup.

It's gotta be because I can't see trusting a 2nd or 3rd rd safety, but maybe they'll surprise us.

So if Davis can push the pocket back and make it harder for the QB to step then pick then this could still be a good pick for a 1st rounder.
I keep seeing future visions of Halimiton making all kinds of plays like Troy Palomalo.
