I love Sauce. Not so big on Stingley. But neither will succeed unless you have a great pass rush. I don't care how great of a CB you are - if the QB's not pressured, even the best corners cannot cover a WR for over 4-5 seconds.
Do you see them getting all that they need with this draft? I don't. So do they target good building blocks if it means moving up? IOW is this a one year build up or do you get some this year and more next year? I think ot will take a couple years, so if they get what they want and only have 8 picks I am fine with that.FolesMVP09 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 9:44 pmheadclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 7:32 pm Really thinking the Eagles will be moving up to the 6th pick. Carolina wants one of the QBs and pick 15 is a better spot for that. They also need a LT, so I could see Howie putting a package together including Dillard and pick 15. The question is, how much more would they have to include. Some have suggested giving up both 1st round picks for #6....fuck all that noise.
Eagles get
pick 6
Panthers get
pick 15
Dillard
pick 83
2023 3rd round pick
Wouldn't do it as Phtown said, not one player away - they need a lot
No - they will have to find a QB eventually even if they do improve in other areas, The draft is a crapshoot; rather take more swings at getting some talentWeapon X wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 3:02 amDo you see them getting all that they need with this draft? So Stingley ahead of one of Hutchinson Thibidoux or Gardner... LOL
