Top 20 talent at the end of the 3rd round.

Impossible to dislike that value when the core of the team is so young and they're still building out the roster.

Marcus Smith ain't dominating shit....
LMMFAO.

JORDAN Smith is a friend of mine, Jordan Davis will be the starting DT in a 3-4 hybrid.

Senior moments at 58?

I feel bad for Matt Corral- the only invited player not drafted yet

Corral, Willis were all talked about as being first round picks in some mocks

I think teams have seen too many instances of others getting burnt by taking a QB high just because he is a QB

edit - nevermind, just taken

though the Panthers were supposedly going to trade for Baker, so do they still do so?

Sorry, I thought I had time travelled back to 2014. Demarcus Lawrence was still on the board....

Now the Corral pick makes sense, reports are the Baker trade fell apart

So, unless Seattle or New Orleans are interested, Baker is Deshaun's backup depending on the suspension length

So reportedly it was also the shoulder, not just the pec that caused him to drop

Austin Gayle
@PFF_AustinGayle
Per source, Georgia LB Nakobe Dean declined surgery on his shoulder, and it's now a major concern/medical red flag.

Did he declare before hurting his shoulder? Would he have been a first round pick and gotten a lot more $$$ if he had gotten the surgeries sat out the year and entered the 2023 draft?

Dude. Austin Gayle is full of shit. We'll see, but Dean said NOBODY told him he needed surgery. None of the teams told him he needed surgery, none of his doctors said he needed surgery. Dean said he will be a participant in the post draft camp next week. So somebody lied on this young man and cost him literally millions, besides besmearching his good name.

So maybe we see if he's limited at all in practice but it seems all that talk was all bullshit.

Kid said he was ready to play. These people willingly spreading this disinformation need to be shitcanned or banned.

The other reason that they are saying he dropped is because of some concerns that he is only 5-11

5-9 Sam Mills was stupidly dismissed initially for the same reason

Hopefully all of this turns Howie into a savvy GM for picking him in the 3rd round.
