Girardi says he's a platoon guy then just lets bad lefties hit against lefty specialists.

You score 4 runs against Scherzer you have to like your chances....not tonight. Rhys should have been sat tonight and Didi should have been at SS Bohm or Camargo at 1st

Yeah that was the problem not Eflin and Norwood stinking. For sure.

They were bad for sure, but this is getting ridiculous, his swing mechanics are really bad right now. Even on that single he surrounded the ball and pulled it left of 2nd base, actually surprised they did not have a defender there

The big Girardi mistake tonight was Norwood

Mets did not hit the ball hard last night. They beat the shift over and over again. They played small ball and scored double digits. Were it not for the shift they wouldn't have scored 5 runs.

I do wish they splurged a bit more on the bullpen. Hasn't been bad so far but swapping out loser abuser Familia for someone like Loup, Neris or Graveman who have been fantastic (SSSS of course). Especially Loup and Graveman with their ability to go multi inning and back to back days a bunch would probably save us from The James Norwood Experience. Hand's been good but he's been a bit of a red flag nightmare so far. Knebel paired with one of those three I think would have turned the pen into a strength instead of this kinda okay but can be really bad or really good maybe who knows stuff they have now. Oh well.
