Just what the Phillies need a pitcher that is hot as hell. Perez has only allowed 4 hits and 1 run in his last 2 games over 13 innings. This is another one of those early season VERY important games, with the Mets coming to town next. This team just does not seem to have any life and Harper's injury seems to have hit them hard, mentally

The Phillies are trying yet another lineup today. I understand Girardi's frustration, but he keeps looking for something the Phillies don't have -- a leadoff hitter. There isn't one in the farm system either. They have to realize (hopefully sooner than later) that they have to trade for one. Bohm is leading off today and I thought he might be a good fit for the #2 spot, but that lasted for one day. Today, Castellanos is hitting second. Another good idea, but that means someone has to hit fourth. Well that someone is Hoskins, so no protection for Harper. There is a lot of talent in this lineup, but it's construction was flawed.

Against a LHP, I have no problem with this lineup. I actually like Hoskins in the cleanup hole. But like I said, it wont matter what the lineup is, if the team is not patient, especially Bryce.

Joe Girardi yesterday: "I’m not going to be changing the lineup every day"

"Changing the lineup" complaints are dumb and overblown but the dude lies constantly and it's weird. Especially when there's no reason to lie.

Jesus Christ Hoskins, fastball right down the middle and you swing through it.

Can someone on this team start freaking hitting?

Bryce is getting deep in a slump, timing is way off and still not being patient. Hoskins LOL, letter high fastball he watches it for another strike out.
