Your prediction about Joel may come true. If I'm him, I seriously consider asking for a trade unless Morey and Brand pull a miracle out of their hat this offseason. Unless the guy is just ultra loyal to Philadelphia, he has to see he has no chance of winning a championship with this team unless something seriously changes very quickly. The fact that Morey is slobbering all over himself to have James Harden back after what he just showed tells me there isn't much to be excited about going forward. I feel bad for Maxey as well because he can be a real star in this league.

Woj said Lakers are still lurking on Doc and it will be important to see what happens when Doc meets with Morey, ownership to make sure they are aligned.

Kinda feels like he is leaving it open that maybe they decide they aren’t aligned and move on.

This thing with Embiid won't happen for 2 more years. He'll delay an extension and threaten FA to push a deal.

There is honestly only 1 major thing that can be done....trade Tobias. Not sure there is any interest. As a PF, he might be one of the worst rebounders for the position and the playoffs showed that once again.

My concern is that with Glenn Rivers coming back, then you my as well forget about Bassey and Reed getting any development.

Danny Green will miss most if not all of the season, especially at his age....and he is cooked anyway. His corner 3 is a weapon, but on defense he is just so slow and this injury wont help that.

The Ben Simmons situation has ruined this franchise and mostly due to what they chose to do. Trading for Harden will haunt this team, especially when I think there were better options earlier in the year.

Looking at this Celtics/Bucs series, you realize how far away the Sixers are from the top teams.

The Sixers don’t have a ton of flexibility to add those pieces, but they have some. Milton, Korkmaz, Thybulle, and Niang are on the books for a combined total of about $15 million in salary. In an ideal world, you’d be able to roll them into a trade that nets a wing or two who brings a better combination of defense and shooting. Trade Tobias Harris to a team with cap room, and the Sixers could have $12 to $15 million to spend in free agency. That would also leave them with an additional $5 million to spend using the Mid-Level Exception. All of this assumes Harden returns on his $47.3 million option. If the Sixers sign him to an extension at less that that number annually, they’d have even more flexibility to spend.
