Buff wrote: Wed Jun 29, 2022 9:53 pm As I've said since the trade, it's all about this year.

Harden is all in, reports say he was back way early in his conditioning and on court work.

It's all about this year.

It's coming and as I've said, just wait until you see it.
What's coming?
Morey's not done, not by a long shot.

Harden declined his option.

Rumor is about a 4m pay cut vs the option
More. Needs to be more. At least down to $30-35m.
Windy is saying mid 30s

Solid move by Harden. Seems to me he is vested in the team and doing his best to help the Sixers.

Now how that plays out to get a few solid names in here is a different story.

Tucker is a pain in the ass, but it's amazing what a change of uniform can do to a person. (i.e. Harden, Butler)

Saw that Donte Divincenzo is now available which would certainly be a solid fit here.

KD has formally asked the Nets for a trade.

Initially, it was Phoenix and Miami, but now Philadelphia and NY have entered.

Apparently, this is what's rumored.

[SOURCES: A third team has just entered the Kevin Durant sweepstakes.

Daryl Morey and the Sixers are now all in for KD.

Harris, Maxey, Thybulle & picks.]

Even if it's KD, I have a real issue losing Maxey. I honestly believe he's gonna be an incredibly special player. KD can't seem to stay healthy and there are already injury concerns with Embiid and Harden.

Losing 3 more players to only bring in one will make this team even more dependent on a starting 5 with no depth.

did Daryl watch the Miami series. Sixers were exposed. no dogs. no bench. too dependent on a successful embiid entry pass. for once let's have a bench that does not scare you when the starters go out.

I hope this is just reporter speculation and not what Daryl is actually offering. No way do I trade Maxey under almost any circumstance, especially for a guy coming off of an achilles post-30 years old. I agree that Maxey is going to turn into a special player and losing 3 players for 1 is not a good thing either. Would just be very short sighted on Daryl's part.

Honestly not sure how I feel about bumrushing Tucker. He's a Rick Mahorn type player, an irritant, a rebounder, but at 37, limited overall athleticism, I'm not sure he's the answer to what is really ailing this team.

[Philadelphia also agreed to a two-year, $8.5 million deal with Utah forward Danuel House, who averaged 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds last season while shooting 42.7% from the field.]

Morey hell-bent on recreating his 2016 Rockets team. Oy vey.
