My goodness.

If the Nets choose to allow the 1st to convey, the 76ers will not have a 2022 draft pick unless Morey acquires one in a trade or buys 2nd Rd picks on draft day.

Typical Daryl Morey. This worries me because he's following the same path he took in Houston and it imploded the franchise. He traded away all his picks, he constantly star hunted with Howard and CP3, they he started moving core guys like Capela and then the Rockets cratered.

I bet that Brooklyn will wait, next year's draft crop seems better, and there's an obvious chance the pick will be better.

i dont know about that (better pick). even if Morey essentially runs it back with substantially the same group, you have a full year of Harden.

Looking (way) ahead, 76ers will be losing two first-rounders in three years, between 2025 and 2027.

If the 76ers' window has closed and they've crashed out into a rebuild, (1) those will be great picks for OKC and Brooklyn, (2) the 76ers rebuild will take a lot longer.

No argument there...

I wouldn't say is closing now, but the lock has been removed...

Anyone know when Brooklyn has to elect to take this year's pick?
