Didn't recognize who we got for the pick. What is the name again?

Sixer trade Danny Green and the 23rd pick (David Roddy) to Memphis for De'Anthony Melton

What are your thoughts on Melton?

He's a bench player

Their bench sucked last year - so I hope he is an upgrade

Once again, Morey going with a Rockets' connection. Morey drafted Melton in 2018, then traded him away. He doesn't solve any of the 76ers' length and athleticism issues, he's a 6-3 combo guard. Moving Green makes sense, but for the 23rd pick, I would have hoped he'd find someone 6-6 to 6-8 off someone's bench. Melton is a rotational guard. He won't start over Maxey, that's for damn sure.

So in the end signing that stiff Green to a 2 year deal effectively cost us our 1st round pick just to dump him? Awful. Melton is not an asset.

I actually really like Melton as a fit as the 3rd guard. Fits both with Maxey and Harden.

Also I said it when I wanted them to trade for Jimmy, Sixers need more dogs on this roster.

Melton is a good player, what are you talking about.
