There is ONE major difference this year...walks are WAY down, they are hitting the ball hard, but very few players are on base. Need Moniak back raking like he did last night in his first appearance.

Bryce was too anxious there...swung at a pitch ways up and in. You almost go into the game thinking you are going to get shutout again. Nola never seems to get support from his offense, defense or pen...it is beyond ridiculous this year

I'm still struggling to understand putting a base clogger in the leadoff spot, despite his OBP ability. Just because he can get on base doesn't mean he should be in that spot. Only Girardi would keep doing something that dumb.

I swear, every hard hit ball seems to be right at the defender.

This umpire is terrible calling pitches in the zone a ball and ones out of it a strike....the worst kind of ump

I agree. DFA for Odumbell. No one will claim him and he's untradeable. Just release him. I don't even want him around the minor leaguers.
