I dont know if I have seen 2 games like that so close together. Phillies had a chance to get to .500 17-18 and Harper hits the HR that gives the Phillies the lead....2 weeks later, Castellanos hits a crucial HR that would avoid the sweep....both games Knebel comes in and loses the game. Those are SOUL crushing defeats.
So far the best acquisition during the off-season has been Garrett Stubbs....let that sink in.

I agree, what about Kevin Long too....he was supposed to be this miracle worker, yet 80% of the lineup is grossly underperforming and for other like Hoskins it is the same shit we have seen his entire career, except this year he has gotten luke warm for a few days instead of weeks. Think about it, we are 48 games in and this is Hoskins 3rd prolonged slump.

Kevin Long is another example of them trying to capture past success from other teams instead of creating future success with up and comers.

Should be done right after this game. Then, at the trade deadline start selling. This team isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
