It is quite obvious that Toby and Joel are really struggling coming off of Covid.

But then go back to what was working.

Rivers is showing he has no idea what combinations work or what doesn't....so many guys are a shooting slump right now and he is not helping them and now he has Maxey all fucked up.

Also clearly obvious this game. This is a slow plodding team.

Not sure how they fix it. Might need to make more changes than just a Ben trade.

Also Shake saved them in the first quarter and just gets 20 minutes?

Really just over Doc.

Tobias catches that and just can’t get by Horford.

Sixers end up with too many late possessions where they are scrambling.

Not a huge fan at this point of the Tobias fit in this roster.
He can't get by him because he gave up the triple threat position after the catch. He dribbled away and turned his shoulder so Horford closed out on him and forced him to put the ball on the floor with a 6-10, 255lb body leaning on him.

If he faced him up when he caught the ball, Horford would have to take a step back to prevent the blow by. Harris showed no aggressiveness.

Um. Harris did not have Covid.

Just saw the last play and I am pissed.

Embiid had Jaylen Brown switched on him and pinned and Tobias dribbled away from that action and could not get Embiid the ball.

He did. They said he had a rough time with it I thought?

Awful, how many years have I been screaming that this team is not big enough or athletic enough a the 2-3-4, especially the 2-3? The 76ers could not beat a single Celtics' defender off the dribble, couldn't create a shot for themselves.

They keep drafting people who aren't long enough or athletic enough. Even Springer is short, not all that athletic with short arms.

Green and Curry are the 2 shortest, least athletic starting swing men in the NBA.

Starting the game with Curry on Jaylen Brown…

[The Philadelphia 76ers received reinforcements on Saturday when they welcomed back Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris from the health and safety protocols and a hip injury, respectively. It helped having their two leaders back on the floor despite the loss.]

The recent missed time was from the hip injury, not his health & safety protocol. That was the point.
