Really is quite the feat to get over .500 by mid-June with the way they looked in most of May. I'd now like to see some killer instinct from Thomson and this club, something we never saw from the team under Girardi. Step on the DBacks' neck and get the sweep.

Too many times Girardi acted like winning the final game of a series was no big deal. He wasted opportunities to gain momentum, create or continue a streak that would have helped them stay closer and avoid the stretches of bad play.

Sweep the DBacks, get to the 10-game streak and look to the Marlins with an attitude to start kicking their ass.

I certainly will think Harper was done with Girardi.

That and his visit to the fans cemented the move.
