The Phillies have now added David Robertson and Brandon Marsh, but continue to shop for starting pitchers.

Sources say they've talked to the Red Sox about Nathan Eovaldi and Rich Hill, and to the Giants about Carlos Rodon. And still in conversation with the Angels on Syndergaard

Finally the piece of shit is gone.

Talked to Robertson last month about possibility of returning to Phillies after Tommy John surgery limited him to just 7 games over 2-yr deal: "I know a lot of people there, it'd be great. It'd be nice to pitch there after being so excited to go there & my body just let me down."

We'll see how it plays out. Dombrowski has already traded two Top 10 prospects and they've made starting pitching a priority. He's not the type to leave business unfinished at a deadline.

Johan Rojas is less vital now with Marsh in the fold. ... Wonder if Rojas + McGarry gets them Rodon; for a rental, that should be close.

Phillies have DFA’d reliever Jeurys Familia. Odubel Herrera also DFA. Mickey Moniak and Francisco Morales will be active tonight.
