Just a sad statement that this team has no one in the minors even halfway decent as starting pitching depth

Faltering is not good at pitching

Falter is unsustainable beyond 2 innings.

It's just a matter of time before he gets tagged because he throws a slider/curve that he ultimately leaves up in the zone. It's damn near batting practice speed and it's easy to see, easy to hit.

It's unacceptable that he's still being given starting opportunities. This is not a serious baseball club.

Dead team walking. Thompson will not be the Mgr next year. Team is so consistently boring and horrific at fundamentals and hitting approach. Getting no hit by John Smyly, seriously?

It is not Thompson

No manager is going to continue winning with this line-up where you pretty much need a shutout to win

I/2 their line-up are barely major league hitters at best

Smyly would be our #3 starter and, as such, I wouldn't be opposed to trading for him.

Obviously losing the MVP from the lineup was the biggest problem, but losing Segura was also absolutely huge. He was maybe their most consistent hitter, least prone to wild swings. And his presence meant far fewer at bats to expose Stott, Bohm, Gregorious, Camargo, etc. You just can't have all these guys in the lineup at once. Alongside whatever center fielder has to be plugged into the #9 hole.

Michael Taylor, two starting pitchers and the expected return of Segura in 10-12 days, and maybe we can stay afloat

Castellanos is so lost,it’s ridiculous. Against Atlanta’s pitching, the booing will be thunderous.

Hopefully he bounces back next season after a long mental break, but there is no hope for this year
