Welp. Looks like I was wrong after all.

I think other teams got caught off-guard. Brown has a great arm and could be around long after Robertson retires. But this was about 2022. No one was willing to do better for an impact reliever?

Back end now very strong..Brown may be a MLB starter ,but he also may not be
Robertson is a proven experienced MLB closer, which the the Phillies did not really have

Castellanos as many of us continue to say is a big key to any playoff hopes. Hopefully today is a start of something

4 runs/9 hits in 2 games, but they got the needed split, so no complaints

Wheeler is in the conversation for the best Phillies pitcher since Carlton. One of their best ever free agent signings

I agree with Chris, need 5 of the next 7

It looks like Thomson is very much committed to mixing & matching with Dominguez, Hand, Robertson, Knebel, and even Alvarado & Bellatti. Decide based on the situation, not the inning. He called it right on the Alvarado switch today; I don't always agree on those moves, but Dominguez wasn't sharp, and I think Alvarado threw Olson off and got him to swing at that first pitch. I'm not sure I'd advise anyone to ever swing at Alvarado's first pitch!
