Once Jean is back today, their #5 starter is once again Kyle Gibson, their worst relievers are Nick Nelson and Corey Knebel, their worst bench players are like Didi Gregorius and Edmundo Sosa. That is a real baseball team.

Today's a pretty fun day for Phillies fans:

- Jean Segura should be activated, obviously a big boost to both the lineup and the clubhouse.
- Noah Syndergaard is slated to make his Phillies debut.
- Brandon Marsh will join the team, big upgrade defensively.

Should be a good one.

As someone points out, not only was Girardi a bad in-game manager, but the Phillies were also essentially allowing him to be the GM of the 25-man roster, and he was awful at that, too. The trash has been going out.

The Phillies released Didi Gregorius.
During his three seasons here he slashed .280/.287.384/.6760. With his declining defense they are the worst three years of his career. Basically he was cooked when he came to Philly. Absolutely would not adjust at the plate and attempt to go to LF. Not sorry to see him go.

Cards keep winning, but the Brewers lose again. So, a win tonight and the Phils are tied with both of them

Obviously they win all tiebreakers

Not a good way to start his debut

Need to keep the deficit at 1 or this will be a bad way to start the series
