Phillies about to own the 2nd wild card, half a game up with a game in hand. They're also making gains on the Braves, who have had a 5-5 slide while the Phillies are 9-1. They're 3 back of the Braves with 2 games in hand.

Moniak went 3 for 8, 2 RBI one of which was his 2nd homer for his new team in the LAA's double header yesterday. Unfortunately, he may be out for the rest of the season after being hit on his left middle finger on his bunt single. In five games he was hitting .286 with 2 homes and 3 RBI.
LA Times put it at 8 or 9 games since the finger was broken at it's tip.

Looking forward to this week's games vs. Mets. It's not a do-or-die series, but the Mets are operating on all cylinders right now, and it will be an interesting test to see how competitive the Phillies can be with them.
