However it turns out, really nice to see them with some late-inning tenacity against an All-Star when they could have just gone quietly into the night and not been criticized.

Gotta give it to Syndergaard for battling through the early issues and really bearing down to give them the quality start. He definitely looked like he was leaking oil early on. To not give up another run is remarkable.

Finally touching Alcantara has gotta feel mighty good.

This is what Noah is right now. He kept them in the game. All you can ask. I'll take that every time he gets the ball.

Fun to watch them again as you have the feeling they are not out of it till the last out. Reminds me of the Charlie Manuel teams.

Stop worrying about Keith Hernandez. Shit like that is going to come and bite the Phillies fans in the ass when they get swept this weekend. (Hopefully not)
