Need to take care of business today & tomorrow.
Looking ahead to the four-game weekend series, things set up fairly well for the Phillies. The Mets are using both Scherzer and DeGrom vs. the Braves. Mets play Thursday and we're off. Matchups look like:
FRIDAY: Nola vs. Bassitt
SATURDAY DOUBLEHEADER:
-- Phillies will go with Wheeler & Falter
-- Mets will go with Carrasco & TBA
SUNDAY: Thor vs. Walker

Schwarber expected back Friday for start of Mets series.
Harper could begin minor-league rehab assignment around Aug. 24.

Man, we badly need to start doing a better job with RISP. Top 2nd, bases loaded, 1 out, can't score. Happens way too often.

Getting win no. 10,000 against the Reds will be nice as they are older than the Phillies. FWIW
10,000 wins, 11,000 plus losses, 2 WS in 139 years. love'em but that is incredible ineptitude.

On the bright side, if they can win tonight and follow that up with a 1,163-game winning streak, they'll be sitting pretty at .500.
