As a still relatively new West Coaster, it's still weird to have these mid-day games start at 9:35 a.m.

Seems weird to give Stott the day off, especially with an off day tomorrow

So, it's not yet the worst news for Marsh. But that's awful news for Muzziotti.

Phillies had no immediate update on Brandon Marsh. If he needs to go on 10-day IL, it won't be announced until Friday. Simon Muzziotti is not a candidate to replace him. He suffered a season-ending knee injury over the weekend in Triple-A.

Dude has a bit of Cole Hamels action, especially his backfoot slider.

Vierling is a terrible hitter and he's getting exposed with more playing time. He plays a decent CF, but he's a black hole with a bat, too often over swinging, going out of the zone and weakly popping up.

It feels like we average about 0.37 runs per game in day games following night games

They're just kind of screwed if Marsh can't return soon. We're probably going to see Dalton Guthrie, who bats from the same side as Vierling. You CAN trade for someone who's one another team's Triple-A squad and hasn't been in the majors this year, so they might need to explore that.
