Thompson really rolled the dice on Robertson and threw snake eyes.
He came up very small today
Bottom line, the Mets are better in every way

Way to turn a bad day against the best team in baseball into something infinitely worse, you eternal sour...puss.
Until they prove that they don’t play their worse baseball in August and September, it is what it is, it’s now a pattern.

Blame the bullpen or whatever. But you have Nola and Wheeler up and they pitch terribly.

8-2 now, because I was counting on this W

It's a shame though, because I fear Harper's return might be negated by a pitching staff that's carried this team beginning to run on fumes
I am not going to overreact to Nola's last start as he was great the one prior, but we can't have another Nola late season swoon

Agreed. It would hurt like hell, but if a lesser reliever does the same thing in the ninth, you just chalk it up to Phillies being outmanned and move forward.

Like sorry I was at game 1 of the double header, but it is embarrassing that the stadium way more energy for the Mets, and the team just lays an egg. The good Phillies teams in 07-11 take that personally instead of just throwing the garbage they’ve thrown up this series

10-8

Just need a Burrell HR off Wagner
Werth to steal a few bases
and an Utley walk off
11-10 win

We got this.......

They're 11-8 this month after today's loss. Past seasons have nothing to do with this one.
