Healthy Harper & Segura
Non-slumping Realmuto, Hoskins, Castellanos, Schwarber
Improving & confident Stott & Bohm

Not really a lineup you want to face in October

Our 5-14 against the Mets was disastrous and embarrassing. (And may end up providing the margin of the Mets winning the NL East over Atlanta)

But if the Phillies make the playoffs, let's partly credit their record of 22-17 vs. Dodgers, Cardinals, Braves, Padres and Brewers.

Mets aside, Phillies generally hold their own against good teams.

Chris,in1988,the Mets were 10-1 vs the Dodgers inthe regular season, the Gooden,Strawberry,Carter,Hernandez era Mets. In the NLCS,the Dodgers won the series 4-3…Get to the Dance and strange things happen sometime ,right?

Oh, for sure!
The Mets are a better team than the Phillies, but not so much better that we should have gone 5-14 against them.
We'd have a shot against them in a playoff series. I think the NL is really up for grabs this year. The Dodgers, Mets, Braves and Cardinals all have significant strengths but also some flaws that make them vulnerable in October. If the Phillies can get into the Division Series and are healthy, who knows?

Getting Seranthony back healthy is key
