That was pathetic by Brogdon

The whole bullpen has just fallen apart - there is no one I trust right now. I would give Coonrod a shot over Brogdon, but I don't have faith in him either

Without Wheeler and/or Dominguez, this team would have to score 10 runs to win some October games

Don't know why Alvarado could not stay in

Not confident in Robertson here

Ok - blood pressure is down, nice win

If the Phillies play 500 the rest of the way - 89 wins

This team may actually (hopefully) win 90+

The upside of playing bad teams = pile up a lot of wins
The downside of playing bad team = tough to stay sharp & you get away with a lot of mediocre performance

You'd like to see the put away some of these games early. 6-0 was nice, but creeping back to 6-4 was not.

.500 the rest of the way would be in big danger of missing the playoffs
I think they'll win 93.

Agreed, but, hypothetically if they won 89

Brewers would have to go 25-14
and
Padres 22-14

At 93; 29-10 / 26-10

So 93 would be great

It's weird having 3 wild cards, but you have to take advantage of it once you essentially know you're in. Rest guys and set up the rotation during that last week, for the focus on a three-game playoff series on the road.

If they're lucky, maybe Mets & Braves both use their best guys down the stretch in an effort to win the division and secure a bye.
