I misread my phone - Brewers had just tied the game, not won it
Despite being 2 hit - Cubs win.
Up 4 in the loss column; 5 game lead
Playoff odds at 91%
Magic # = 32

Obviously, this is not a World Series contender or an elite team, BUT...
-- ESPN has our chance of making playoffs at 91%
-- We have the 7th best record in MLB (and 1 game out of being #6)
-- We have the 5th best road record in MLB, behind only Astros, Mets, Braves, Dodgers
-- 7th best run differential in baseball.
We are, with zero doubt, only the third best team in our division, but the rankings after that are impressive.

Last note: There's no doubt that the Astros are a tier above us, talent wise. But they've taken care of business by going 40-21 vs. the AL West, which has three certifiably awful teams.
If the Phillies didn't have 38 games vs. the Mets & Braves, maybe/probably they're sitting at 75 wins.
It will be interesting to see how some of these division races play out next year in "balanced" scheduling.
