Yay for the win
Yay for lowering the magic # to 19

Just continues to be worrisome about what will happen when they play a good team

Another win, which is ultimately all that matters.
The goal is the playoffs. No goals likely to be achieved after that, but at least we might get playoff ball.

Yes after 11 years - it would be better than nothing.

Dodgers are all over the Padres in the 7th. Could be a decent night.

Phillies now half a game over the Padres for the second wild card spot.

Too early to worry about the off season
It is too soon, but one intriguing possibility is keeping Segura for one more year and having an infield with Bohm at 1B, Segura at 2B and figure out the best configuration for Stott & Bogaerts at SS & 3B. Obviously the Hoskins trade, much hoped for by some, would be part of this scenario. I'm not sure what you're going to get for him, though, with one year left on his deal.

Yeah, that part caught my eye as I have been thinking that Segura would not be back, but I would rather keep him over Hoskins
