Just can't keep counting on beating Alcantara. Maybe they can get into the bullpen.

I hope they write Maton into a 2023 roster spot in ink.

Brewers and Cardinals tied, 4-4.
We're St. Louis fans for sure, especially given how Brewers' schedule lightens up after this

Where will he play? I can't believe they have to pay Schwarber for 3 more years. I don't dislike the guy but he isn't a lead off hitter and hasn't showed me that he should be in the everyday lineup. I actually think if he was moved further down in the lineup he might actually start driving in some more runs again.

Boy I missed those 9-pitch Dominguez innings. His presence changes everything.

I don't think he's an everyday player either. But he's a two-starts-a-week guy who doesn't weaken your lineup. He's a solid pinch-hitters. He's a guy who can step up if someone is out for two weeks. Give him the combined 200+ at-bats we wasted on Camargo & Munoz this year. And, yes, I think the roster can fit both Maton & Sosa.
