Another slow start for the offense - hopefully they get some runs later like the past 2 nights

That was pathetic
Schwarber is close to useless right now. Thompson being stubborn not dropping him''

I know that the Phillies have been winning, but am I the only one worried that they seem to be struggling to score unless they can get a HR?

Well, this one will be a struggle now. Plenty of time, but a rare rough Thor start.

Thor is just not good - Blue Jays are going to light him up next week
Looks like the lead will be 4 going into the 9 game stretch that is going to be very difficult. Meanwhile, the Brewers have 6 tough home games vs the Mets and Yankees
The question is what the lead will be a week from Sunday. If the Phils can't go at least 4-5, I am worried that their lead will be close to gone. Brewers are at home for all but 4 games the rest of the way while the Phils end with a 10 game road trip.
After how bad they looked vs AZ/SF - I am worried that this could get ugly. Hope they prove me wrong.

Top of the order continues to struggle in the Phillies lineup. A lot of the offense continues to come from the bottom of the order and that is recipe for disaster in the long term when those guys return to earth

While Castellanos will hopefully add back in, I think it's time to be putting together the October lineup and see if it will click
Stott, who has a .343 OBP since Aug. 1, should be the leadoff hitter.
Stott
Hoskins
Harper
Realmuto
Schwarber
Bohm
Segura
Right Fielder
Marsh
Might be the way to go for now. Some time to see how Schwarber does in new spot and adjust accordingly

I'd flip Hoskins and Segura. More speed at the top of the lineup, better bat control and less KsChristopher wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 12:47 pm While Castellanos will hopefully add back in, I think it's time to be putting together the October lineup and see if it will click

Yeah, I'm torn. I like Segura as that clutch bat in the bottom half of the order, just when you think you're out of a jam
