ironically the possible 10 game losing streak that will end their season matches the 1964 losing streak

Sadly, no way they lose out with the Nats on the schedule.

I really don't understand why multiple teams have been fascinated with the idea of him atop the lineup in recent years. He's a seven-hole hitter most of the time and maybe a #5 guy when he's on a good streak
This team needs a partial overhaul like they did in and after 06 with Lieberthal, Abreu, Bell, etc

Move on from Hoskins, Segura, Nola to start

True. But the true fun is that, bad as it will get, they'll probably still have a mathematical chance until about Game 160.

It's to the point I have to have something else to on to distract me while the game is on.

You look at the swings teams like the Braves, Mets and Blue Jays put on the ball and it's alarming in comparison to the Phillies, day in and day out.
