Every once in a while, Gibson has a good game. They are in desperate need of that today, as I doubt that they score much against Morton

If Gibson does struggle early, I wonder if they have a quick hook and go to Thor?

Game 152 Bel.

Though it would be nice to get a do over for #151

Todd Zolecki
@ToddZolecki
Phillies just placed LHP Brad Hand on IL with left elbow tendinitis. RHP Chris Devenski joins the bullpen.

INF Johan Camargo DFA’d.

Hand has been bad the past month so maybe that is why

Devenski was really good his first 2 years, sadly that was 5 years ago

No Acuna - so that helps

Brand new biggest game of the season. If they can enter the final week up by 1.5, vs. 0.5 (and potentially tied with Padres), they have a much better shot at a Red October.

It's not fatal if they lose today, but it turns every inning this week into "hold your breath" time.

For what it's worth, Brewers are facing the Reds best SP, and the Padres are sending their most mediocre SP to the mound.

He pitched well against them a few weeks ago and the Reds won

The downside, of course, is that yesterday gave the Braves fresh hope of winning the division. They are focused
