I am declaring this the first "must win" of the year. I know that in reality it is not, but I think it is psychologically
They need to go 5-2 at worst over the next 7. Have Wheeler going, already lost 3 straight to the Cubs. Lose, and they are running out of margin for error. I have a bad feeling about the Nats series, so get wins behind the better pitchers

Potential for a lot of rain on Saturday in DC - that could wreak some havoc

Is there any MLB precedent for pre-emptively moving the doubleheader to Friday, instead of Saturday?
The only other options are:
In a worst-case scenario, could be looking at a doubleheader Sunday PLUS a need to play a makeup game after Astros series.

I know they have changed game times, but don't recall them creating a DH with short notice
pitching wise, would not mess up the Phils rotation, but would create (even more) bullpen issues
Nicky C batting 6th tonight
Cubs have a winning record since the ASG - not a "bad" team

Stroman usually pitches well against the Phils and obviously the offense has done squat so far tonight
