Last night my negativity about this team annoyed Chris. I like Chris, so he is not someone that I want to annoy

Therefore, for tonight nothing but positive posts as the Phils start the winning streak that will carry them to the playoffs

Good to see Bryce with 2 hits last night as hopefully that means a hot streak is coming

Phils hit 3 HRs tonight; Nola is solid

8-3 Phils win

There are numerous scenarios being discussed for this weekend in Washington. The Phillies know this much: They are going to get on a plane tomorrow to DC. A Friday doubleheader is very much in play. After that? Who the hell knows.

Dusty Baker planning on playing his regulars vs the Phillies for the "integrity of the game"

.....and maybe just a little because the Phils hired Girardi instead of him.

Phils can't depend on other teams to help them. They need to win. Also, if they don't make the playoffs does Thomson still get the job?

Trust me, my friend, you and your comments don't even rank in the top 10,000 of things that annoy me. You're a positive.
Sometimes I just allow myself to be demoralized by fatalism that lacks perspective. It's just a game. Even when we know where the spiral is probably going, it can still be somewhat fun. It's still just a game. I mean, we're basically just busting our asses to win a couple extra games this week so that we can have the fun of losing two games next week, right?

Thomson is the reason they are in a WC position. i think they have to bring him back.
