Looks like Friday game is early afternoon, then prime-time on Saturday and (if needed) Sunday.

Very true. That 2011 NLDS hurt the most of the playoff series losses from 2007 to 2011

Cardinals Game 1 starter is Jose Quintana.
He's be brilliant this season, but it's also fair to call him a career journeyman at this point.

Matt Vierling will start in center field in Game 1. Cardinals are starting lefty José Quintana.
Vierling against lefties this year: .760 OPS in 135 PA
Marsh against lefties this year: .486 OPS in 105 PA
Have to reluctantly agree with this move.
I want to give Marsh a full shot next year, but the biggest factor for him will be making enough progess that he's not an automatic out vs. LHP
