I dunno. I am not as optimistic as you guys.

Phillies with an awful September finishing the season on a 10 game road trip where they went 4-6, and just enough to clinch. Then right off to St. Louis.

These boys are beat. As much as I would like to see them make this a competitive three game series I think the Cardinals blow them out in 2. Hope I am wrong.

I don't disagree with you about the offensive struggles. But it's entirely possible that Wheeler and Nola both hold the Cardinals to 2 runs or fewer, at which point it's anyone's series.

Absolutely do not understand Kyle Gibson as the 13th pitcher on the wild-card roster. It's three games. He's trash right now. Would have rather had one more bat. This is entirely a move made so they don't hurt a guy's feelings. Stupid.
