It will be interesting to see what they do from here with the bullpen. Eflin got it done both games, but by no means was a lockdown guy. I think you continue to make situational decisions with Eflin, Dominguez, Robertson, Alvarado. Also, hope for complete games by Wheeler & Nola.

Dominguez getting out of the 8th shocked me to be honest. He had been so bad of late

I think we should remind ourselves that Goldschmidt has been terrible lately, too.
And Arenado was certainly pressing as the last only hope.

If the Phils/Braves somehow went 5 - the game could be on against Eagles/Cowboys

I honestly thought there would be an offseason thread posted today. Glad there isn't.

Don't know how they did it, but they did. Pitching stepped up huge. Bohm of all people played his ass off.

Still a little discouraging (sans Harpers home run) to see the big boys not hitting. This is gonna bite us in the DS.

I'm down with a few more late night Octobers though. Go Phils!

Not looking that far ahead. Phillies still a massive underdog in this series, but what I'd love to see is find a way to split in Atlanta and then come home to Philly with Nola pitching in Game 3 on an electric Friday night*

(*Although, looking at schedule, that game is almost certain to start at 4 or 5 Eastern, with Dodgers getting prime time)

Yeah, if its Mets/Dodgers - 100% guaranteed it would be primetime

Phillies last Friday afternoon playoff game was the Pedro gem that the bullpen blew in LA; 2009 NLCS G2
