Phillies/Padres NLCS
This is the tougher opponent for the Phillies in this moment. Padres are just as hot as we are. Playing with more urgency than the Dodgers ever seem to do. Padres' bullpen far superior to the Dodgers which will be a problem for us, because their starters can go deep. I don't think Soto/Machado will come up small, like the Cardinals' and Braves' big bats did.

Also, certain fan bases and establishment writers will now treat us to a week of how the revamped playoff system is (tiny violin) unfair and bad for baseball, LOL. Eat it, suckers.

Let me be very clear: I think the Phillies matched up better with the Dodgers. I did not wish for the Padres, who I think will win in 6.

Padres have very good Top 3 starters, solid bullpen, two superstars and a bunch of guys playing like they're Cody Ross
