We probably won't know more until spring training begins, but -- especially with the acquisition of Soto -- it seems like there might be a chance that the Phillies give Matt Strahm a chance to be a starter. It never hurts to have depth, especially if they want to avoid overworking guys in the first half and/or wait until the second half to debut Painter in the bigs.

Seranthony Domingez and the Phillies agree on a two year deal with an option for 2025.

2025 option: $8M or $500K buyout.
