Then two bullpen arms are the most important.
I'm not sold that they need to spend much on the bench. Maybe some flyers. Especially now that Turner is on board, I think they're going to be giving at-bats to Hall, Maton, Vierling ... plus Muzziotti will be competing for a spot this spring. Again, that's an easy thing to fix midseason. Let's get the arms now.

Padres offer to Turner was $340M+ (at least $40M higher than Phillies)
Could be he was going to East Coast no matter what.
Could be he dislikes California state taxes.
Could also be the that Phillies are still reaping the benefits of Harper's home run off Suarez.

You might have seen wrong info. .... It's one-year, $3.15 million for VV
Trash Pirates gonna trash to fill out their rotation. This coming a day after they said they had money for two starters.

No worries. Very quiet day so far.
Josh Bell just went to Guardians for 2/33, which seems like a good deal for them.
Padres might be itching to give them $342 million they offering Trea Turner to someone else
Bellinger is ONLY considering pillow contracts so he can be a free agent again next winter
Rangers met with Carlos Rodon (!!)
Giants, in addition to making Judge a big offer, also talking about Correa & Nimmo (presumably as fall-backs)
Cardinals the favorite for Willson Contreras.
Japan's Yoshida (the LF) officially posted as a free agent

Not that anyone asked, but I would have taken Bell at those dollars and traded Rhys for a 3rd/4th starter type.

A good guess, given his age, is probably 4/60. But, in addition, any team that signs him would owe the Orix Buffaloes a fee equal to 20% of the contract’s first $25MM, 17.5% of the next $25MM and 15% of any dollars thereafter.
He might be an on-base machine, but it's all concerns besides that. He's 29, can only play left field and he's following in the wake of the disappointing Seiya Suzuki, who was .770 OPS, 2 WAR in the first year of his 5/85 deal with the Cubs.
