How does a guy blow and 10+ game lead and lose the division in the regular season as well as get blown out in the POs with a team that as a $300 M payroll win MOY ?

Playoffs were not a factor as the voting occurs prior

The argument would be all of the injuries that he overcame

Realmuto finished 7th in NL MVP voting.
He's a fairly good catcher.

Tangental but of note for some of us: There's a fair chance that Twitter could go down this weekend and I honestly have no idea what the prospects of its stable return would be.

LOL right?

It used to be fun till Covid hit then the app has been complete trash. There are few fun people worth following, and some sports and news accounts, but it's mostly people whining and bitching.

It's just his opening salvo, but if Rodon wants $35M per year, it might be all the more reason to go snap up Jose Quintana on a two-year deal. Wouldn't even necessarily lock them out of more possibilities
