Absolutely would not have given Thor 1/13.
I want him to bounce back fully and find success again, but that's not a bet I'd make for 2023.
Dodgers, who've had an odd offseason, as overpaying him to vacuum up at least some innings with 5-inning starts, because they've lost so much pitching depth.

Joey Gallo hit .160 last year, struck out in 40% of his plate appearances ... and just got $11 million from the Twins.

And Benintendi gets 5/75 from the White Sox to play LF

The Gallo & Benintendi signings may be good news for Conforto, who may now have more motivated pursuers.

[Cubs and Dansby Swanson have an agreement on a seven-year deal for $177 million, per source.]

JD Martinez is a really nice get for the Dodgers in what's otherwise been an underwhelming offseason for them.

If I were the Cubs, that's not how I would have spent $177 million.

If Tatis can stay healthy and not fail any drug tests, I think the Padres win the west

LA will be a wild card

On the Red Sox message board, there's daily talk of trading for Hoskins, but I just don't see that happening given that:
-- the return on Hoskins would have to be light, given he's only got one year on his contract
-- Phillies have let almost all of the FA first baseman pass on by

More to the point, it looks like the Red Sox are now going to headed back to a nearly empty buffet table and may end up signing two from the group of Jean Segura, Justin Turner and McCutchen
