I hate Doc as much as anyone but the roster is garbage. Take
Embiid out and it’s one of the worst rosters in the NBA
I dont agree...a healthy Harris is a good player, not Max type, but good. We have an explosive PG in Maxey we have a sniper in Curry. I love Milton as a back up PG, Kork is killing the team with this slump, But remember everything changes if we have Simmons or whatever we should get for him. The team is in a bad mental state right now IMO. The one HUGE hole in this team is an athletic small forward...and they could use an athletic young 4....oh wait, we have one, but Glenn refuses to play/develop him

Tobias Harris is maybe the 4th best player on a championship team.

He also absolutely kills ball movement. He is a ball stopper who lives on terrible contested shots.

The contract is only going to get worse as he gets slower.
Tobias was outstanding last year...give him a break...dude had Covid very bad and it has abviously hampered him. But yes he needs to do all he can to help this team...is he doing his very best his body will let him do??? Not sure, but I think there is just a malaise over this entire team right now.

An explosive PG who doesn’t really pair well with Embiid yet.

Thybulle is mostly unplayable on offense and has made 0 strides from last year.

Korkmaz is unplayable on defense.

Danny Green is even worse than last year and clearly on his last legs.
Sadly you are not wrong about most of that...however, I do disagree with you on Embiid and Maxey. Their struggles are more related to River's idiotic offensive scheme

It’s not an accident Maxey looks like a different player when Joel
Is not on the floor

3 point shooters are now falling down if they feel any contact to their hand....NBA refs are too stupid to realize it is just another type of flop

That is because he is not playing his game...Rivers is not drawling up or calling for enough iso...Maxey should be able to drive and shoot or dish it to Joel....they rarely dont even try....seriously watch their offense. Pass it around the 3 point line until there is 5 seconds left on the clock and then they do something

This would require Joel running Pick and Roll, and in particular rolling more which he is not comfortable doing, or sitting at the 3 pt line more. Neither great.

Might get there eventually but not there. Currently not effective.

Danny Green bringing the ball up to Tobias Harris.

I wonder why they couldn’t get a shot off.

Hard to get a shot off when no one can get by a defender off the dribble.

Joel Embiid: 14 points on 7 field-goal attempts and 4 assists.

Rest of Sixers: 34 points on 39 field-goal attempts and 5 assists

Bad roster gonna bad roster.
