Eagles are gonna need a "2017" type effort.

[Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl tackle Lane Johnson is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season with a torn tendon in his abdominal area, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Eagles are reportedly hopeful that Johnson will be back for the postseason.]

[Cornerback Avonte Maddox is also out indefinitely after suffering a significant toe injury against Dallas, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.]

The injury to Lane is devastating. I find it highly unlikely that he could return in 3-4 weeks for a playoff game with a torn tendon

Eagles record without Lane over the years is not good.

This game on Sunday was already going to be a struggle as I expect it will be Minshew again unless they rush back an injured Hurts. Without Johnson, the OL will be an issue

Saints issue has been their offense not their defense as most of their games have been close & low scoring. Problem is with a Gannon coached D, even a mediocre vet like Dalton can take advantage

Unless the Eagles jump up big early, it is going to be a 20-17 coin flip kind of a game. If the Eagles lose, panic will set in.

Maddox was the best Eagles defender for a quarter or so against Dallas. It was great seeing out there before his injury. This really sux. Not Lane Johnson sux, but pretty shitty.

CGJ is eligible to return, but I am not optimistic that he does

Do you shuffle the line and move Mailata to RT and put Dillard at LT, or you just cut and paste with Driscol and hope for the best?

Didn't it not work out that well with Mailata last year? I remember him not playing that well, and he was not that comnfortable over there.

Not good that this is a very meaningful/important game for the Saints.

Eagles need to treat this like a playoff game (but not by playing Hurts). Take care of business, and then they can essentially have 2 weeks to get as healthy as possible for the first playoff game. Win, then treat the Giants like a preseason game.

Not a fan of weakening at 2 positions, Just a shame that Dillard cannot play RT
