Terrible series by Steichen.
You can't run wide on the 49ers, it's a wasted down.

Why give the 49ers defense the gift of running wide and making it 2nd and 9? Run right at them, hat on hat, neutralize their speed and chase ability.

Actually, I read an article that stated you can run on them off tackle, but that doesn't mean you run horizontal to go wide.
